He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eugene "Gene" Barnes and Melton Eldean Silcox Barnes; his daughter Tiffany Lee Barnes; and his brother Jerry Lynn Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Glenda; his son Josh Barnes; his stepdaughter Gena Cathey; his sisters, Vicky Coffman and Pam Sosa (Felipe) of Smithville; and his granddaughter Kyleigh Matthews of Rickman, TN. He is also survived by three nephews and several cousins.
