Though Shannon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shannon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Missionary Baptist and Eld; his sister Jolonda Lynn Shoulders Smith; his friends, Jerry Harper, Tim Williams and Joe Nixon; his nephew Charles Smith (Sara); and his great-niece Lydia Joy Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sanderson Funeral Homes, Inc. (901 Main St N, Carthage, TN 37030-1002). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
