She was predeceased by: her sons, Melvin Ottis Christian and Vinnie Ethel Overstreet Christian; her siblings, Carrie Nell Christian Climer, James Wade "J. W." Christian, Leonard Wilson Christian, Jesse Julious Christian and Oliver Smith "Shorty" Christian; her son Tony Howard Speck; and her sister Maude Christian Mofield of Lebanon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Speck Bowman (Anthony) and Tammy Speck Smith (Tony) of Carthage; her grandchildren, Toni Miranda Speck, Phyllicia Speck, Blake Speck of Simpsonville, Betheney Speck and Audri Bowman (Payton); and her great grandchild Luna Petty.
