He was predeceased by: his parents, Will T. Whited and Daisy Dimple Cooper Whited; his son Randall Lee Whited; and his siblings, Mildred Clydette Rickard, Will Terry Whited and Foster Dewayne Cooper.

He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Thomas Whited of Whitfield, TN, Johnny Thomas Whited II of Kentucky and Cynthia Garrett of Carthage, TN; and his sister Laura "Lolly" Allmon (Ray) of Rock City, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family request memorial donations in memory of Johnny be made to Bass Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
