Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward S. Walton and Fan Roberts Walton. She is survived by: her children, Sue Ishee (Jerry) of Nashville, Walter Glenn "Birdy" Birdwell, III (Christie) and Sparta; and her grandsons, Matthew Hughes Dobson VI of New York, NY and Walter Birdwell Dobson of Nashville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carthage United Methodist Church (608 Main St N, Carthage, TN 37030). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
