We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025, at the age of 83, Gran Gibbs (Carthage, Tennessee) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gran Gibbs to pay them a last tribute.
She is survived by: her children, Vickey Gibbs of Lebanon, Lisa Evans of Gordonsville, Stephanie Gibbs of Carthage and William Gibbs Jr. of Ilinois; her siblings, Billy King of Cookeville, Carolyn Lancaster of Gordonsville, Darlene Gist of Cookeville and Jacky King Sr. (Zina) of Carthage; her aunt Grace Hobbs of Murfreesboro; and her grandchildren, Terrance, Andrew, Elliot, Garrion, Lee, Elston, Raheem, Taneshia and Rachel. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren- 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sanderson Funeral Homes, Inc. (901 Main St N, Carthage, TN 37030-1002). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
