She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur D. Murphy and Darlene Wilson Murphy; her daughter Amanda Darlene Murphy; her brother Glenn Murphy; and her half-sister Marsha Murphy Houston.

She is survived by: her children, Darlene Fay Young (Shane Fann) of Elmwood, TN and Frank A. Young of Carthage, TN.; her granddaughter Zeeva Fann; her stepchildren, Suzanne Bellar (Tim) of Chestnut Mound, TN and Kevin Young (Cynthia) of Chestnut Mound, TN.; her stepgrandchildren, Adam Young and Sarah Young; her siblings, Ricky Murphy (Lois) of Gordonsville, TN, Judy Darlene Murphy of Carthage, TN and Mary Ann Hobby (Joey) of Hartsville, TN.; her half-brother D. M. Murphy (Terry) of Crossville, TN.; and her sister-in-law Kathy Murphy of Carthage, TN..
