She was predeceased by: her brother James Michael "Hippie" Thackxton. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Mercer (Chris) of Cumberland Cove and Sandie Scurlock (Chris Dawson) of Baxter; her grandchildren, Ashley Pape (Jessica Kilburn) of Murfreesboro, Veronica Mitchell (Larnell) of Gainesboro, Heather Ausband (Jared) of South Carthage, Brittany Collins (Jamie) of South Carthage and Tanner Stacy (Mashayla Harris) of Bloomington Springs; her siblings, Lela Thackxton King (Donnie) of Gordonsville, Patrick "Pat" Thackxton of Carthage and Chris Thackxton of McMinnville; and her stepgrandchildren, Aislynn and Isaiah Dawson. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
