He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hoit Dieterich and Stella Kersey Dieterich; and his wife Nancy Gayle Van Meter. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Carolyn; his siblings, Howard Dieterich, Margaret Dieterich Beyer, Thelma Dieterich Day, Glen Dieterich and Madeline Dieterich Corwin; and his children, Diana Dieterich Lusson of Lowell, Lori Dieterich Hilligoss (Jeff) of Lost Nation and Brian Dieterich (Carolyn) of Carthage. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
