He is survived by: his daughters, Keshia Carter of Ypsilanti, MI. and Tamika Carter of Ypsilanti, MI.; his sister Regena Morton (Cornel); his grandchildren, Niarra Coleman, Mahara Coleman, Isley Coleman, Amariah Carter, Joselyn Carter, Ashley Carter, Gabriel Coleman, Jelani Coleman, Demetriac Carter, Christopher Carter, Kylon Carter and Quin Carter; and his great grandchildren, Stephon Lyle, Amir Carter and Jai.
