It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Buchanan (Carthage, Tennessee), who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Madewell and Mary Magaline Crook Madewell (Maggie); and her siblings, Dewey Madewell, Charles Madewell, Jody Grisham and Bobby Madewell.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Louise "Tinker" Head (Rob Montgomery) of Chestnut Mound, TN, Darlene Brown (La Don Harville) of Lebanon, TN and Tracey Buchanan Christensen (Joe Christensen) of Pleasant Shade, TN; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann White (Bobby Sanders), Brian Lee Smith (Ann Smith), Rachel Michelle Smith (Rubin Vealey), Maggie Brown, Carter Brown and Tyler Brown; and her great grandchildren, Bryson Smith, Kynadee Smith, Kambri Smith and Ella Jo Sanders.
