With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Newman Whitworth of Camden, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2025 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe Newman Whitworth to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Alston and John Wesley Whitworth. He is survived by: his children, John Whitworth (Vicki), Steve Whitworth (Suzanne) of Camden and Susan Dulin (David) of Nashville; and also Virginia Anne Lockhart Whitworth. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
