He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cole and Emma Nunnery Cole; his former wife Avis Spence Cole; his siblings, Ruel Cole, Ruth Fowler Wyatt, Opal Deaton, Pauline Hargis, Corean Craig and Johnelle Moore; and his great grandchild Dasha Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McMackin Cole of Camden, TN; his children, Randy Cole (Lynn) of Camden, TN, Mark French of Camden, TN and Melody Reid (Randy) of Paris, TN.; his sister Reba Johnson Pace of Camden, TN.; his grandchildren, Shannon Reid Kirby (Matthew), Scott Reid (Krissa), Brooke Cole (Lauren), Mark Cole, Trina Patton (Jimmy Thompson), Amy Fulbright, Tiffany Frerking (Phil), Bethany Weatherly (Chris) and Corey French (Nicole); and his great grandchildren, Colin Roberts, Emma Frerking, Mary Frerking, Chloe Rogers, Gage Weatherly, Briar Weatherly, Lucas French, Katie French, Olivia French, Abigal Kirby, Henry Kirby, Sarah Kate Reid, Luke Reid and Laine Thompson.
