He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Carmack Florence and Linnie Lashlee Florence; his brother Robert Florence; and his granddaughter Ashley Peyton Florence. He is survived by: his wife Norma Florence of Camden, TN; his sons, Emory Florence III (Peggy) of Camden, TN and Mark Florence (Millette) of Camden, TN.; his sister Lee McKeel (Jimmy) of Winter Haven, FL.; his siblings-in-law, Ray Pierce of Camden, TN. and Linda Florence of Farragut, TN.; his grandchildren, Sara Horton (Chase), Hannah Coffman (Jonathan) and Nicholas Florence; and his great grandchildren, Gemma, Pierce, Campbell, Gideon, Gibson and Graham.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the First United Methodist Church in Camden .
