He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Malin and Velia Crossnoe Malin; his wife Dorothy Malin; and his siblings, Carnell Malin, Bennie Wayne Malin, Lee Malin, Helen Tapsott and Elizabeth Craig.

He is survived by: his children, Roger Malin of Camden, TN, Joseph Mitchell (Gina) of Paris, TN. and Lori Scott (Danny) of Camden, TN.; his sister Janice French (Bob) of Paris, TN.; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael, Harley and Sarah.
