He was predeceased by: his former wife Janice Nelson; and his sister Ann Waters. He is survived by: his parents, Holland W. Nelson and Bonnie Marie Hasley Nelson; his wife Doris Nelson; his children, Jeanna Bush (Don) and Eddie Tinsley (Diane); his stepchildren, Donnie Bawcum (Debbie), Danny Bawcum (Dana) and Anita Haskins; his sisters, Bonnie Nelson, Helen Clement, Big Sandy, Sue Webb (Maynard) and Linda Berry (Charles); and his grandchildren, Heath Bush, Heather Marshall (Terrance), Heather Redline (Justin), Jonathan Bawcum (Alica), Makensie Dudley (Jack), Montana Hardy (Brandon), Tiffany Hughey, Marcy Roberts (Frankie), Chris Travis (Micki), Derik Tinsley (Jenny), Craig Tinsley (Lori), Tina Hughes (Eddie) and Holly Conyers.
