She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Lee Wilson and Ida Elizabeth Luffman Wilson; her husband James Sterrett; her daughter Deborah Fortner; and her siblings, Jessie Roger Wilson, Terry Lynn Wilson, Margaret Kilburn and Hazel Burns.

She is survived by: her daughter Donna Kilburn (Larry) of McEwen, TN.; and her brothers, Clint Mosley of Waverly, TN, J. C. Wilson of Waverly, TN and Mark Steven Wilson of Waverly, TN..
