Alton Weatherly touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Weatherly and Helen Weatherly; his adoptive parent Pat (Muriel Mitchell); his son Matt Mitchell; and his siblings, Purcell Weatherly (Charlotte), Vernell HIggason, Gale Weatherly, Lillian, Maurine Clement (Lloyd), Billy Weatherly, Jimmy Lowry (Sue) and Ron Weatherly.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Wilson (Cliff); his granddaughters, Addison and Sophia of Memphis, TN.; his brothers, Harold Weatherly (Carol) of Dallas, TX and Gary Weatherly (Jane) of Gulfport, MS; and his sisters-in-law, Iva Dell Weatherly of Camden, TN, Rose Weatherly of Gulfport, MS and Vicki Talley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her presence would light up his face even in these last several years as he battled the horrible disease of Alzheimer's.
