With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Cross (Byrdstown, Tennessee), who passed away on March 15, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Printis Proctor and Virginia Ada Rains; and her siblings, Alma Rains, Howard Rains, Fred Rains, Ruby Upchurch and Dorothy Hassler.

She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Cross; her children, Kevin Cross (Stephanie) and Marcia Cross Karki (Mark); her grandchildren, Jordan Cross (Jenny), Abbey Cross Overholt (Ben), Amy Cross Stridde (Tyler), Chandler Karki and Christopher Karki; her great grandchildren, Cooper Cross and Wesley Overholt; and her sister Charlene Rains Huddleston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
