She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Brannum and Ada Pauline Brannum (Jones); her brother Howard Glenn "Ricky" Brannum; her children-in-law, Max McWhorter and Laura Neal; her sister-in-law Linda Brannum; and her child Joe Carson Neal.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Neal and Jo Ann McWhorter; her siblings, Betty Dodson, Joy Lovell, Violet Freel, Teresa Melek, Jenny Gunter, Cathy, Lynn Choate, Vickie Stockton, James, Michael and Ernest Brannum; and her grandchildren, Matthew McWhorter, Satisha Smith, Brandy Neal, Jason Neal, Dawson Neal and Ashley McWhorter. She is also survived by Great-Grandchildren; (4) Great-Great-Grandchildren.
