She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe 'Ross' Smith and Dora Smith (Lacy); her husband Willard Mitchell; and her son-in-law Dr. Myron John 'Mike' Adams III. She is survived by: her children, Linda Adams, Wendell Mitchell and Kendell Mitchell (Marietta Reagan). She is also survived by grandchildren, (7) great-grandchildren and (1) great-great-grandchild.
