He was predeceased by: his parents, Etta Ruth Mitchell (Easterly) and Thomas Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Norma Mitchell (Garrett); his children, Rebekah Flowers (Jeff) and Cody Mitchell; his grandchildren, Camerick Mitchell, Caiden Mitchell, Ethan Flowers, Paige Flowers and Peyton Flowers; and his siblings, Sherri Beaty, Randy Tompkins and Rick Cross. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and lots of friends.

Due to the Covid-19 Virus, the family encourages masks to be worn and social distancing.
