She is survived by: her mother Bessie Olive Manis (Hinds); her daughter Carla Koger; her husband Philip; her son Shane Slaven; and her brothers, Perry Manis and Jerry Manis. She is also survived by grandchildren and (4) great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Chapel (202 W Main St, Byrdstown, TN 38549). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
