She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Gunter and Ola Gunter (Claiborn); her husband Gib Scott; and her siblings, Mazie Melton and Bobby Gunter.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Painter (Donnie), Helen Benningfield, Debbie Cummings and Kenneth Scott (Patricia); and her brothers, Tom Gunter (Sue) and Bill Gunter. She is also survived by grandchildren, (17) great-grandchildren and (2) great-great-grandchildren.
