He is survived by: his wife Debra Sue Scott Cummings; his daughters, Faye Holesapple Dempsy, Kelly Cummings Sweatman (Wayne Ball), Crystal Cummings Thompson (Chris) and Jenna Cummings Riddle (Josh); his sister Brenda Green; his children, Flonnie Lee Woodram Cummings and Jason Michael Cummings; his brothers, Benny, Jack and Gary Cummings; his brother-in-law Ronnie Green; his nephews, Jacob Cummings and James Franks; and also Jason. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and 1 granddaughter-in-law.

“To crystal and Jenna, my cousins I love you girls. It's never easy, losing both parents overtime. We definitely have that in common now. I need you two to know, that I'm always here for both of you, anytime either one of you all need me. We grew up together. I don't have a good memory anymore much. But I can remember uncle bill and Curtis coming to my new little trailer when I got it and putting phone jacks in the trailer for my phone. I was so proud and thankful.Or rescuing us out of the snow”
