She is survived by: her husband Edward'Hawkeye'Dowdy; her children, Tammy Asberry (Michael), Dana Dowdy (Misty) and David Dowdy (Angie Pickens); and her sister Ruby Prodromides. She is also survived by grandchildren and (3) great-grandchildren.
