He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon G. Pleasant and Juanette Lowe Pleasant; and his brothers, Larry Dale Pleasant and Weldon G. Pleasant, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Margaret Lynda Taylor; his nephew Weston; and his nieces, Cora and Melody.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:50 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (212 N Main St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Family Cemetery (479 Bishop Hollow Rd, Elizabethton, TN 37643).
