He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friends, Eddie and Pat Clawson; his father George C. Shoun; his wife Deana Grindstaff Shoun; his children, John Burleson (Amanda, Butler, Jill), Katie Shoun Harrell (John, Butler) and Kelly Shoun; his grandchildren, Conor Burleson, Carson Burleson, Chamis Harrell, Landry Hughes and Laynee Hughes; his mother Irene Laws Shoun; his sister Linda Shoun Grindstaff (Benny, Mountain City); and his brother-in-law Jerry Grindstaff.
