He is survived by: his mother Hatsuko Maeto Smith; his wife Sandra Smith; his sons, Jerry Clayton Smith Jr. and Robert Joseph Smith; his sisters, Joyce Shultz, Dorothy Zmirich, Nancy Smith, Debra Sullivan and Terry Allen; his grandchildren, Anthony Clayton Smith, Mia Elizabeth Smith and Ian Clayton Smith; and his great grandchild Anthony Smith Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
