He is survived by: his wife Nancy "JoAnn" Cable; his children, James Cable, Lisa Dugger (Jerry) and Barbara Reece (Robert); his grandchildren, Amanda Fagan (Eric), Brandy Curtis (Brian), Nicole Bowers (Ty), Kayla Arnold (Doug), Shawna Shaver, Tasha Avery, Tiffany Ellis, Chris Ellis and David Guy; and his sisters, Ida Lee Arney and Lena Arney (Glenn).
