He is survived by: his sons, Darrel Patterson (Karen) of Bon Aqua, TN, Lynn Patterson (Kim) of Burns, TN and Estel Ayakatubby; his siblings, Wayne Patterson and Lucille Locke; his grandchildren, Misty Justice, Heather Patterson, Cory Patterson (Ashley) and Bailey Dotson; his great grandchildren, Matthew Justice, Kerri Justice, Tommy Lynn Anglin, Jason Anglin, Heather Hatcher, Korra Taliaferro, Pryce Shook and Cian J. Patterson; and his great great grandchild Bryleigh Lynn Auther.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
