He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley George and Mary Magdalene Ashworth (Cathey); his grandson Owen Giles; and his siblings, George Wiley Ashworth and Emily Ann Bumpus.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Ashworth (Julie), Anthony Ashworth (Scarlett) and Kimberly Giles (Brandon); his sister Sheila Faye Marsh; and his grandchildren, Cody, Hunter Ashworth, Trevor, Trey Ashworth and Landon Ashworth.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home (209 E College St, Dickson, TN 37055). A masonic service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
