He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Bishop and Clara Bishop (Brown); his wife Jewel Richardson; his daughter Julie Bishop Russell; and his brothers, Samuel E. Bishop, Dan Bishop and Leslie Bishop. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
