With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jean Shires-Rose of Burlison, Tennessee, who passed away on September 12, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Cleveland Rose; her grandfather Roy Cleveland Rose; her siblings, Doris Smith, Edith Robertson, Faye Franks and George Shires, Jr.; and her parents, George Whitehorn-Shires and Allie May Whitehorn-Shires.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Lynn Knight (Phillip), Nickie Dale Rose (Diane), Roy Cleve Rose and Douglas Lee Rose (Michelle). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
