He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Carpenter and Betty Joe Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Carpenter; his sons, Edward Carpenter, Steve Yager and Thomas Yager; his brothers, Jack Carpenter, Don Carpenter, William Carpenter, Richard Jennings and Perry Lambert; his grandchildren, Katie Yager, Alexis Carpenter, Lanna Greenhaw, Christopher Mixon, Kirstin Yager, Aidyn Mixon and Chloe Carpenter; and his great grandchildren, Riley Hardee and Karter Hardee.
