She is survived by: her children, Tonya Brown (Castro), Amador Zuniga (Betty), Anthony Zuniga (Kim) and Ellis Cortez (Felicia); and her sisters, Betty Howard and Polly Proffitt. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
