It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Allen Sheffield of Burlison, Tennessee, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Clyde Allen Sheffield, Jr.; his parents, Robert Sheffield and Emma Sheffield; and his siblings, Vontice Nichols, Triby McCoy, Penny Richardson, June Nichols, Laura Mae Fergerson, Bobby Sheffield, Ed Wayne Sheffield, Mack Sheffield and Jimmy Sheffield.

He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Sheffield; his daughter Cynthia A. Hooten (Garry); and his sister Brenda Lassett. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Beaver Baptist Church.
