He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Dallas Peter and Rosella Steinkhuler Peter; his daughter Terry Lynn Higdon; and his sister Dorothy Ann Rizhallah. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Clark Peter; and his sons, Charles Douglas Peter of Boscawen, NH and Harvey Dallas Peter, II. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
