It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Barry Simano Sr. of Bulls Gap, Tennessee, who passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Proctor Simano and Jennie Smart Simano Piper; his daughter Tammy Boeske; his sister Betty Collins; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Simano and Roger Rutherford.
He is survived by: his wife Della Pruitt Simano; his children, Norman Barry "Normie" Simano of Chester, NH, Roxanne Phillips, April Pruitt Gladson and Heiskell "Peanut" of Bulls Gap; his grandchildren, Jimmie Phillips, Zack Boeske, Nathan Boeske, Kirsten Simano, Tasha Spellman, Jacob Reed and Jesse Gladson; his great grandchildren, Emery, Michael, Halie, Emma Jean, Colton, Carmyn, Cora and Bennett; his brother Harry Simano; his brother-in-law Larry Collins of Bulls Gap; his sister Leslie Kaufman; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Rutherford and Clinton Rutherford (Jackie) of Rogersville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
