Loretta Jones Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta Jones (Bulls Gap, Tennessee), who passed away on August 3, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest "Frosty" Jones; her parents, Cara Ann Rhea Pinkston and J. D. "Doolie"; her stepmother Mamie Lucinda "Lou" Pinkston; her brother Charles Glenn "Bud"; her sister-in-law Shirley Carpenter Pinkston; her daughter-in-law Geneva Atkins Jones; and her niece Melanie Pinkston Stapleton.

She is survived by: her children, Vernon Jones of Whitesburg and Vickie Jones Drinnon (Donnie) of Whitesburg; her sister Sharon Pinkston Anderson (Douglas) of Mohawk; her grandchildren, Mandy Drinnon Kenner (David) of Rogersville, Christy Jones Peavley (Jeffrey) of Douglas, Georgia, Angie Jones Martin (Todd) of Whitesburg and Damon Drinnon (Heather) of Whitesburg; her great grandchildren, Nolan Kenner, Jeremiah Peavley, Porter, Ella, Holston Drinnon and Kamryn Martin; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Catelynn and Carli Martin; her niece Michelle Pinkston Davenport (Phillip) of Bean Station; her nephews, David Pinkston (Virginia) of Morristown and Stacey Everhart (Karen) of Greeneville; her sister-in-law Marie Jones Ailshie (George) of Point Pleasant; and her close friend Denise Reece.
