She was predeceased by: her husband David Gene Powell; her parents, Loy Elrod, Sr. and Julia Mae Martin; and her brother Ronnie Elrod. She is survived by: her son James David Powell (Gabby) of Bulls Gap; her stepchildren, Amanda Powell of Albertville, Miranda Martinez (Alan) of Villa Rica and David Powell of Marietta; her grandchildren, Greyson Tate and Tobias Gabriel Powell; and her sisters, Wynette Jina Davis (Teddy) of Smyrna and Jennifer Cole of Marietta. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many special friends.
