We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2025, at the age of 76, George Thomas Smith of Bulls Gap, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Irma Smith; his parents, George W. Smith and Anna Ruth Smith of Whitesburg; his sister Barbara; and his brother-in-law Franklin Short of Rogersville.
He is survived by: his son Danny M. Smith (Marie) of Rogersville; his brothers, Robert F. Smith (Carolyn) of Bulls Gap, Lynn Smith (Lou) of Whitesburg and Donnie Smith of Whitesburg; and his grandson Caleb W. Smith of Rogersville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Christian-Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kite Cemetery (518 TN-70, Rogersville, TN 37857).
