He was predeceased by: his former wife Dorothy Wilder Trent; his wife Georgia Lee Trent; his parents, Matthew Milum and Laura Alice Trent; and his children, Ken, Ricky Trent and Cynthia Trent.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Winstead (Gerald) of South Carolina, Sheila Dalton, Sandra Dalton, Roger Trent and Robert Trent; his stepson Carl Long (Grace) of Whitesburg; and his sister Essie Livesay. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
