We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2024, at the age of 69, Dorothy A. Collins of Bulls Gap, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Collins; her parents, Charles Abernathy and Opal Abernathy; her stepson Jimmy Collins; her siblings, J. C., Kenneth, Larry, Shirley, Sandra, Bonnie and Darlene; and her close friend Diane New.
She is survived by: her son Tony Bores (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Hannah and Payton; her great grandchildren, Lilyanna and Brynleigh; her brother Robert; her brother-in-law Wade Frazier; her close friends, Roy, Felicia Collins and Brytanie Collins (Josh); and also, Meya, Jessa and Noah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Phillipi Cemetery.
