He is survived by: his wife Hazel Yount; his children, Charlsie Hunley Gulley, Norma Housewright (Don), Katherine Singleton, Lisa Bradley (Gary) and William Yount (Dede); and his siblings, Andrew Yount and Rose Crusan. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
