He was predeceased by: his wife Vivian Everhart; his parents, Charlie Everhart and Goldie Everhart; his brother Claude Everhart; and his half-brother Ted Light.
He is survived by: his children, Shelba Arnold of Kingsport and Jeffery Everhart (Deanna) of Bulls Gap; his grandchildren, Joshua Williams (Caley) and Kayla Williams; his sister Kathleen Little (Dale) of Kingsport; and his nieces and nephews, Traci Percer, Sam Smith and Jerry Smith.
