With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Lamons of Bulls Gap, Tennessee, who passed away on January 20, 2021 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzo Lamons and Pauline Henson Lamons; his children, Toby Lamons, Melissa Bradley and Vickie Thacker; and his siblings, Bill, James, Charles, Louise and Betty Lou.

He is survived by: his wife Etta Lamons; his children, Alfred (Diane Thacker), Star (Steve Eslinger), Phyllis (Jesse Abbott) and Teresa Morrisett; his grandchildren, Karina, Josh, Cheyenne Thacker, Emily Welborn, Olivia Keith, Kevin Reaves, Clarissa Harris, Samatha Tweed, Johnny Bradley, Hunter and Jordy Lamons; and his sister Sue Crocker (Tank). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm with Reverends Larry Miller and Donnie Myers officiating with music provided by the Gloryland Trio.
