She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Ward; her parents, Lawrence Spears and Bonnie Spears; her brothers, Bill Spears of John Spears, H. S and Ronnie Spears-Williams; and her sister-in-law Rosa Lee Spears.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Ward (Cindy) and Patricia Ward; her siblings, Opal Elmore (Phillip), Cora Coker, Guy Spears and Victor Spears; her grandchildren, Arielle Gilbert (Jesse) and Michael Ward; and her great grandchild Victoria Ward.
