It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marylene Starnes of Buffalo Valley, Tennessee, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Youngblood and Allie Avo Huddleston Youngblood; her husbands, Walter Ray Ashburn and L. A. Starnes; her daughter Mary Martyn; her son-in-law Al Sierocinski; and her siblings, Sherrill McMahan, J. L. and John Ivan Youngblood.
She is survived by: her daughter Kaye Jones of Silver Point; her grandchildren, James Thomas of Silver Point, Tommy Thomas (Gillian) of Silver Point, Jamie Michaelson (Klus) of Silver Point, David Templeton of Alabama and Greg Templeton of Nashville; and her great grandchildren, Dakota Morgan, Damon Morgan (Tiffany), Danie K. Morgan, Dustin Thomas, Jordan Herald, Breanna Thomas and Joshua Thomas. She is also survived by 8 great-great-grandchildren.
