It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Whitehead of Buffalo Valley, Tennessee, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Thomas "Tom" and Lillie Robinson Whitehead; his wife Jessica Nell Ayers Whitehead; his daughter Jennifer Guffey; and his siblings, Pebble Mathis, Melvin and Junior Whitehead.
He is survived by: his son Shane Whitehead (Amanda Williams) of Buffalo Valley; his siblings, Emily Maynard of Nashville, Mary Madewell of Baxter, Ruby Lindner (Jerry) of Baxter, Beverly Johnson (Mike) of Cookeville and Jack Whitehead (Betty) of Baxter; his grandchildren, Ben Guffey (Stevie), Ashley Clemons (Mason) and Bryson Bowman; and his great grandchild Clyde Lee Clemons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
